Day one: NYC to Princeton

So day one started with a stop at CBS Early show. Yep I think I got my face on national TV. Of course it was 8 AM on a Saturday morning so who knows who saw it. Then we rode down 5th Ave and then cross town to the East River to catch a ferry.

After lunch the real ride began. About 45 miles then to Princeton. Since it was the first day, I has little trouble with the ride. A few hills but nothing strenuous. The best part though has been the sense of common purpose and community that we all have on the ride. And of course it was nice to feel a small sense of accomplishment entering the Princeton campus. One day down, four to go.

  1. 8 am on a Saturday... I think you know my answer to that one. And also I find it a little humorous that you traveled to new york, just to ride all the way down through NJ again. Talk to you soon. Happy New Years by the way, and have a restful Yom Kippur. I hope you can forgive me for being terribly annoying this year. ; )
