After a long hiatus. . . .

Got back on the bike today for a 'quick' run up the river.  It was cold and windy, but at least I was back on my bike.  Took me a while, but it was good to ride again after the hiatus.

Between the conference, my teaching schedule, family schedule and the rain, it's been 3 weeks since my last ride.  I need to get a little better at riding regularly.  I am sure that once classes are done and the weather warms up a little more, I'll be able to ride a lot more regularly and hopefully then more frequently.  The Climate Ride is 5 1/2 months off, but I have yet to log 70 miles total this year.  And I'll be riding close to that in a single day.

So I guess I need a little inspiration.  And here it is. Whenever the subject of bicycling comes up, my little girl wants to get out and ride on her 'bike' as well. . . . .  Even on the cold days.
